Storyteller capacity

Same chronicle. More continuity and capacity.

Choose the amount of room your chronicle needs. Every tier keeps the same core experience; higher tiers give the Storyteller more vitae credits, context, memory depth, and multi-step working room.

Good, better, best — with honest edges

Start free when you are exploring the night. Choose Ancilla when a regular chronicle needs more turns and continuity. Elder is for long-running stories with larger casts and deeper archives. The limits below are the current server-authoritative ceilings for each renewal period or turn.

Fledgling

Fledgling · Free

A clear starting point for trying the Storyteller and keeping a recent thread of play alive.

A steady chronicle

Ancilla

Ancilla · Pro

More room for regular sessions, active relationships, and context that needs to survive a longer arc.

Elder

Elder · Top

The largest current allowance for ambitious chronicles with a broad cast and layered history.

This is the server-side budget for the retrieved and assembled story-context slice, not the provider-reported total model input. A request may be several times larger and varies by turn: system instructions, conversation history, rules and tables, character and game state, tool schemas and results, cached prompt content, and other moving parts are also included.

Player-created Story Workspace instructions sit outside the Storyteller-pinned-fact cap. They remain visible and editable by the player.

Tool-loop iterations are an upper bound for multi-step Storyteller work, not a guarantee that a turn will take that many actions.

Fledgling keeps recent material plus up to 3 older digests. Ancilla adds up to 5 older and 3 ancient digests; Elder adds up to 8 older and 10 ancient digests.

Pick the voice per campaign

Base, Advanced, and Primogen are campaign-level model choices, not plan-locked features. Richer models consume more credits per turn. Primogen is coming soon where the live interface still marks it that way; the available choices and their credit costs are shown in your campaign UI.
